Our Toddlers are the eldest children at our Infant Toddler Centre on Druid Ave in Stirling. Throughout the day based on their age they are split into smaller groups that allow the children to be in a group size that provides for greater opportunities for quality learning experiences with their Educators. The Toddlers have a degree qualified Early Childhood Education Teacher who devises an educational practice based on the Early Years Learning Framework and Reggio Emilia principles and this is delivered by them with key support of a team of Diploma Qualified Educators. Many of the Educators in our Toddler team have worked with us for over 5 years and have many years of experience in both long day care settings and family day care.

Our Toddlers move to the ELC on Mount Barker Rd in Stirling in at least two transitions throughout the year, one at the beginning of the school year and a smaller group at the beginning of Term 3. This process provides a sense of achievement to the children moving up to “big Preschool” and offers a sound base for the major transition to Primary School yet to come. The transition process takes place over 3 weeks where the group of children are slowly introduced to the Teacher and Educators of the ELC as well as the environment, whilst still supported by the key Educators they know and love from the Infant Toddler Centre.
